This is my second NES homebrew game, SENSELESS CITY.  Like my first game GRAVEYARD DUDE, it was also built using the Retro Puzzle Maker, after which I heavily modified it with new graphics and music:

You can find GRAVEYARD DUDE HERE:

This game is a more of an experiment, or maybe just an extended flex on the capabilities of the Retro Puzzle Maker tool. At the beginning of the game, you can choose between two characters, which determines the music, graphics and color pallette of the puzzles going forward. So it's almost like two different games!.. just with the same puzzles.

I may come back to this and add more levels, I might expand it to a CNROM to give it a fancy title screen and ending graphics or who knows. I just figure right now it does everything I wanted it to do when I thought of it.

This is a puzzler that is very good for beginners.

I was playing it to relax, I put some easy listening* on in the background and had a pleasant experience. It finishes at Level 6/13, I hope one day You will make the remaining 7 screens. If You gave the source code to the Mojon Twins, they could port it to C64, CPC and Spectrum haha. Source could also be licensed to educational institutions for students to practice their coding skills and port it to different languages.

This is actually built in Retro Puzzle Maker by NES developer ChrisCCP, although I did heavily alter it afterwards with my own code to do things like add extra characters and stage designs not available in the original project. I'll probably come back to it this summer and flesh it out further, but I'm currently working on a much more ambitious visual novel sequel which has a demo available here:

Glad you liked it!
