This is a complete graphics, map and gameplay redraw of the Namco game Ms. Pac Man for the NES. There are two Ms. Pac Man games for the NES, one by Namco and the other by Tengen, this patch is for the former. It changes up the graphics and mazes and also enables multiple debug features like level skips and invincibility:
- Press Start + Select at any time to reset the game.
- At the title screen, press Left or Right to select a starting level
- At the title screen, hold B and press Start to start the game with invulnerability enabled.
- During the game, press A or B while paused to change the brightness of the primary maze color.
- During the game, hold Select and press A to set the internal "dots remaining" counter to three. After eating three dots, you will advance to the next level.
- During the game, hold B and press A to make the ghosts change direction.
- During a two-player game, Pac-Man can be controlled with either controller.
- During a cutscene, press Start to pause the action.
- Press Select +A at the title screen to go into a special debug menu
THIS IS NOT A GAME ROM. This is a graphics and code patch authored by me which must be applied to a game owned by the downloader. You can find this game at many classic NES game online stores. Enjoy!

this is so cute and well done! I love it
Thanks! I got some of the visual ideas from a Russian hack of the game and cleaned them up for this.
There's a great Namco Ms. Pac Man level editor called Blinky if you want to try your hand at making something similar.
ooh I might just do that! I have ideas for a pac-man clone that I invented when I was a kid. Called Pack-O haha
